Milt Kort Passes

Milt Kort passed away on August 1st here in the Detroit area. He was 85. He contributed so much to magic in both approach and technique and yet he was not a professional magician. His vocation was as a pharmacist.

Mr.
Kort?s dedication to the art of magic was exemplified by the time and
energy he spent in developing new effects and sharing with magicians
visiting southeast
Michigan. He was an author of two book and the subject of a book by Stephen Minch and illustrated by his daughter, Sandra.

Mr. Kort?s philosophy of performing magic began with the premise: ?Have fun!? He will be missed and we send our prayers and condolences to his family.
