I learned all of my sleight of hand from one man, Barry Gibbs. Before I met Mr. Gibbs at the age of 12, I knew two sleights: the Hindu shuffle; and a sleight in which I took great pride because I invented it, the Downs Palm. (Apparently T. Nelson Downs stole from me before I was born ? it could happen). Mr. Gibbs taught me the back palm, the front palm, the second deal, false shuffle and even the one-handed shuffle.
