Oh Eun-Young and Kim Jong-Soo Perform on Borneo. We?ve never met these two magicians but have followed them for years. Both masters are from South Korea and have gained international acclaim for their artistry, theatrical abilities and magic.
Mr. Jong-Soo recently toured with Jeff McBride on his Asian tour. Ms. Oh Eun-Young left her position as a Asiana Air Flight Attendant to: 1) start a magic academy; 2) star on Korean television?s Comedy Club; 3) write a weekly magic column called ?Oh Eun-Young’s Love Magic?; 4) win the 2003 Eddy International Magic Convention Award in Hong Kong; 5) written the best sellers “Oh Eun-Young’s Magic School” and “Magic Pang Pang, Science Pang Pang”; and teach as a professor at Dong-a In-jae University’s Department of Magic.
So she pretty much just lazes around; without a plan or any drive. Not.
The duo performed for VIPs and diplomats on Monday and for the general public of Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday. Korean Ambassador Mr Kim Woong-nam said that magic teaches people to have creative minds.
He said that there are only two places where you can learn magic in a university, one of them is in Korea, at the Dong-a In-jae University’s Magic Department. The show, said Mr Kim Woong-nam, will help to further promote cultural exchanges and build up ties between Korea and Brunei.
