Mr. Bornstein invented many money tricks, wrote the Encyclopedia of Paper Money Magic, developed the incredible Polaroid Money Outdone.

Crikey! Steve Irwin to Replace Siegfried & Roy?

Steve Irwin

Australia’s most-daring export, Steve Irwin (“The Crocodile Hunter”) left his native Beerway, Queensland for Los Angeles - he hopes to prove his chops to take Las Vegas.

At a press conference today, Mr. Irwin began his crocodile wrestling and taipan taming show in LA to audition a possible long-term $66 million-plus extravaganza show in Las Vegas.

Reports say “Las Vegas is desperate for a showman like the khaki-clad Crocodile Hunter” because such a “huge void was left on the strip when Roy Horn, of the famous lion taming magicians, Siegfried and Roy, was attacked and critically injured by a white tiger on stage in 2003 - forcing the show to close.”

The Croc Hunter’s shows in LA will be part of the Australia Week Festival while he continues meetings with money people - including unnamed casinos - about setting up the show on or off the strip.

If Irwin - already a multi-millionaire through his TV documentary shows, zoo and feature film - strikes a deal with a major casino it would easily make him one of Australia’s richest entertainers.
