Former Magician’s Assistant Morgan
McDevitt was voted off the island or where ever the Survivor
contestants were encamped. We understand from our sources Ms. McDevitt
was the lead assistant in James Bradon’s World of Magic appearing at Great America in the Chicago area.
We’ve
never seen the show — any of the versions — but if we had known a
magician’s assistant was one of the participants we would likely have
been rooting for her and would be currently outraged that she was voted
off so early.
We could feign interest in the show in order to
justify the excitement of writing a rant about how unfair life and
reality-based life can be. We’d proclaim our boycott of Survivor and
all advertisers associated with the Survivor show. We’d offer a plan
to bring CBS television to its knees by withholding all of our
considerable influence from the company and the corporate evil-doers.
Too bad we missed our chance.
But
we’re looking for a new opportunity to be angered and righteous. We’ll
let you know when we find it or, if necessary, we invent one.
